- Produce detail engineering plan check packages, permit sets, Scopes of Work, Materials Take-off, Calculations.
- Coordinate all plan check packages, permit sets with utilities (Southern California Edison and PG&E), AHJ for their approvals.
- Specialize in EV Charging such as Level 1, (standard 120v outlets), Level 2 (208V-240V) and DC Charging (480V, 3phase, designing for public and workplaces).
- Design and draft single line drawings, three phase drawings, site overview, layout drawings, wiring/schematic diagram, power layouts, lighting layouts and grounding layouts, raceways (direct buried cables, cable trays, wire and conduit, duct bank underground, trenches) and to provide power to all electrical equipment such as level 3 chargers, Battery and Solar system.
- Provide direction to electricians, vendors to resolve technical concerns, authorize on-site field changes and verify as built when work was completed.
- Create model and perform load flow studies, short circuit studies, arc flash studies, device coordination studies, motor starting studies, ground grid studies, relay settings and voltage drop calculations for the entire electrical distribution systems at 220kV, 66kv, 12kV, 5kV, 2.4KV and 480V using ETAP/SKM software.
- Procurement/RFQ for all electrical equipment (switchgear, transformer, cables, circuit breakers and conduits).
- Technical Bid Analysis and awarding projects to electrical contractor for construction.
- Prepare Man-Hour-Estimates, managed Design Change Notice and responded to RFI (Request for Information).
- Produce as-builts, excavation permits, as-Found packages for assigned projects.
- Develop technical specifications, data sheets and installation detail for Substations/PDC building, power transformers (12/5/1MVA), Auto-Transfer-Switches, UPS, Batteries, Switchgears, generators, Arc- Resistance Load Interrupting switches, High Resistive Grounding units, Motor Control Center,
- Troubleshooting, preventative maintenance programs, repair, retrofit, testing, QA/QC, FAT, SAT, coordination of improvement and new projects, cost/budget management for the entire electrical system of refinery.
- Help with installation A-Z for homes wanting to obtain EV- Chargers in the Orange County, Riverside and sistering areas.
